Welcome to Barber Family Farm.
We are a farm animal rescue, therapy farm and party and event venue.
Barber Family Farm consists of separate entities, BFFZoo.org a Federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit (rescue and therapy), Backyard Family Farm (offsite parties and events) and lastly Barber Family Farm (daily farm operation and hosting the community on site). These are three completely separate entities with three separate operators and business structures. We work together too provide a safe haven for rescued farm animals, while providing therapy for our community members and at the same time providing furry, fun and educational petting zoo’s and pony rides for community events and parties. BFFZoo.org operates independently. While Backyard Family Farm conducts community events with the animals to provide the animals opportunity to interact with their two legged friends and become imprinted and gentled so as to be able to conduct therapy in a safe and beneficial matter.

Current hours are
Thursday and Friday 3pm-7pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am – 4pm
We conduct therapy and field trips Mon thru Fri 9am to 2pm (by appt.)

Beyond Words
There are no words which can express adequately our gratitude for an experience so far outside the realm of the traditional petting zoo our family was able to experience with Barnyard Buddies. The story behind them is so personal, and due to a Veteran who personally discovered the value of healing through a love and commitment to animals in need. This was an invitation to engage with rescues, who in turn are not just part of a hired event, but which are now therapy animals for victims of tragedy, Veterans with PTSD, and chronic pain. All I can say, is that when Herbert and Herbie arrive, ask them about each animal and their story, and you will receive much more then an opportunity to love and hold these beautiful creatures, but to experience a life lesson in selflessness and grace applied in the most unusual of ways.

Petting Zoo
Our standard petting zoo is a 10′ x 10′ decorated and shaded enclosure. We bring a variety of animals who are on their best behavior that day. Animal are a combination of goats, lambs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, alpacas and piglets.
Hand Led Pony Rides
We only use the most calm and gentle ponies. Their other job is as therapy animals for PTSD and Autism. Our handlers are full time care takers of the ponies so they know how each one acts and reacts for your guests and our ponies safety.
Large Events
We can accommodate any size event. From small intimate encounter with the animals, all the way to full blown Pumpkin Patches and Fairs. We have large enclosure with all size animals as well as multiple pony sweeps.
